Hep B??????? Did I Over React????

My partner was going out with a girl before he met me for about 3 months and she then turned around after 3 months and said that she had Hep B. My partner broke it off with her as she was not forthcoming about this information at the begining of their relationship. Now my partner saw her one day not too long ago in the street n decided to have a chat, see how she was doing, what shes has been upto n bring her up to speed with whats been happening with his life since they broke up. Should I be annoyed that he was talking to his ex who if he wasn't careful using a condom could have contracted this disease. He told me that for atleast 6 months after he broke up with her his life was turned upside down as he was soo afraid that he had caught it. He had to do several tests and was quite stressed out that he may have caught it. Even though he used a condom, Hep B can be ped on by exchange of other bodily fluids. When he told me that he saw her and had a chat, I was furious as I wouldn't have given her the time of day for what she had put him through n put his life in danger. I just want to know if I was over reacting or was he right to fill her in whats being hapenning in his life as if they were old buddies. Thanks
