How will I feel when I come round from having my hysterectomy (LAVH)?

I know I'll be sore, nauseous, emotional and tired etc because this will be about my 12th surgery so I'm familiar with how surgery and anaesthetia feel, but how will I feel specific to the hysterectomy? Will I feel different inside (once the initial pain has subsided and I'm getting normal feeling back)? Does it hurt when the things around where my uterus was adjust to it not being there anymore? Is there anything that will seem weird that would be helpful to be aware of? They're hoping to leave my ovaries but it might be that once my gynecologist has seem them he might not be able to- will I feel menopausal i.e different to being not menopausal immediately (I know from a hormone perspective I'll have had a surgical menopause and will physically post-menopausal immediately) or does it take a few hours/days to kind of kick in in terms of actually feeling it? I have loads of info on LAVH so I know what I should expect, I'm really wondering more about what it's like in reality. Any tips or advice anyone doesn't mind sharing would be very gratefully received. BTW I'm 31 and have not had children if that's relevant, I'm having the hyst because of severe endo and have had several 2nd opinions as my gynecologist and another one I've seen have discussed me with specialist endo and laparascopic surgeons so I know I have no choice and that it's the right thing to do and I'm as happy as I can be in the cirstances about that. Why am I always sick?

Since I was only 11 years old, I become sick up to 5 times a year. It increases as I get older, and it's starting to become very annoying. They especially come during winter, but they can come at any time. No, it is never too late to start in a different field. In fact, it is exciting and a great way to NOT spend your life doing something that is not fulfilling. My mother mother went to college to become a dietitian and worked as one in a hospital for 10 years after graduation from college. She decide to switch careers because she realized she loved the training/teaching of new dietitians more than actually being one. She went back to school at 32 to get a degree in teaching and retired from being an elementary school teacher (which she LOVED) about 10 years ago. Do what you love; that will insure your success!

A friend gave me a 75 gallon pet store fish aquarium. You know the low front pane, high back pane, and divided in the center deal. And the sides were higher then the front and back. Okay I rebuilt the tank and removed the front pane, back pane, and the divider. I had two new pieces cut to fit the front and the back. About 52 X 26. So I asked a local pet shop (mostly fish) if there was anything wrong with it. He said I might be to tall and all the pressure will be at the top of the tank. And im adding a brace in the center for that. But is there any other way I can reinforce the tank so I could get a long use out of it. The tank is now about 120 to 130 gallons. Under eye darkness troubles?

I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes. It isn't from lack of sleep, because I still have them even when I get 13 hours. (Yes, I have done that before. It was amazing.) Hi. No, of course it isn't bad. It's your personal decision. You'd be labelled as a pescetarian (short for pesce-vegetarian). Just out of interest, do you do it for health reasons or animal rights reasons? If you do it for animal rights, then some vegetarians may not understand, but I see it is much easier to include fish in your diet, especially as fish mostly get a nice life swimming in the water. Even if they're farmed, they still get a big load of space to swim around in. The only problem with eating fish is over-fishing and possible mercury levels, but if you feel OK eating fish, then it's your right to do so. At least you cut meat and poultry out of your diet. ok, I am SO confused! Diet has got to one of the most confusing aspects to training, which is why I'm pretty gutted it's the most important part! Right now I'm trying to get rid of around 6% bodyfat, currently being at or just under 15%. I think I have a pretty good idea of how many calories I need to take in, but am quite confused about actual foods... Like some people say carbs should be low (I have cut out bread and pasta - my weaknesses!) I agree with this but I don't have a clue what carbs are 'acceptable'. I don't eat crap like sweets and cakes and biscuits, and for now have cut out bread and pasta etc however carb are everwhere, like in meusli, nuts well you know. Are these ok to eat on a fatloss phase? Plus I also read some fruits are high in carbs (as sugars) but I just can't see the logic in cutting out fruits (and potatos for that matter). So can someone please enlighten me?! Finally here is roughly the foods I am currently eating (oh and I'm veggie) meusli with semi skimmed milk (semi for nutrients and fats) a fair bit of fruit, vegetables, eggs, nuts (plain Brazils, almonds, cashew etc) quorn, salad, tofu, vegetable oil (obviously mixed into meals) and I drink water and sometimes a weak squash... Finally I also sometimes have some whey protein powder. How does all this sound? I wanna have it right rather than get frustrated after weeks of nothing. OSHA failed to keep my identity anonymous so I have a legal question.?

I filed a claim with OSHA about my place of employment being unsafe. I chose to excercise my right to remain anonymous. OSHA then sent a letter to my employer stating the allegations. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and when I went to the dr. this week hey asked me if I wanted to accept or decline the swine flu vaccine. I'm not sure what I should do. I would trot in and canter out each line. It won't cost you as many points and should get you the experience you need. I have done this a lot with green horses though I only show them in green cles. What's the best steel for a utility blade, and the best way to sharpen it?

I'm not a knife expert but I don't believe there's a lot of decent utility knives that are key chain sized. If your not using them in a demanding way that requires a lot of force and pressure you should be fine, but otherwise i would recommend getting a folding knife that has a clip. That way you can get a blade that's 2-4 inches, maybe serrated as well. It will also still be convenient because it still does not take much room and it won't add bulk to your keys. In fact, it would be easier if your knife clips into/onto your pockets, belts, waistband, etc because it's easy to just pull out and flick open with one hand. There's a lot of good knives like kershaw that will do. (and yes, they also make keychain ones.)

I flushed our hot water boiler on Wednesday by opening the drain valve until the water ran clear and then closing it again. Oh honey I feel for you and she seems like a sweet lady. Maybe the best way to do it would be to appeal to her emotions. For example my MIL was a bit domineering and she came for a visit. My husband and I both worked full time and while we were at work she cleaned our house spotless, I thanked her and she said "well someones got to do it". It made me feel horrible and I started crying, the truth is she had no idea her demeanor hurt my feelings, and when she realized it she backed off. Tell your MIL that her disregard for your feelings and ideas hurts you. Tell her you will pick a godmother that you and your husband feel is the perfect fit for the baby, and that includes considering people other than her daughter. That is your baby and you have to do what you feel is right. If you give in on control of your child now, its over, she will control it forever! As far as vacation time and visits, my guess is she is trying to spend as much time with her son, your husband, as possible before he gets shipped out. And while that is all good and dandy, it cuts into your time with him before he ships out. You need to let her know that while you enjoy her visits, your husband and you would like to spend some quality time before he leaves. My partner was going out with a girl before he met me for about 3 months and she then turned around after 3 months and said that she had Hep B. He told me that for atleast 6 months after he broke up with her his life was turned upside down as he was soo afraid that he had caught it. He had to do several tests and was quite stressed out that he may have caught it. Even though he used a condom, Hep B can be ped on by exchange of other bodily fluids. When he told me that he saw her and had a chat, I was furious as I wouldn't have given her the time of day for what she had put him through n put his life in danger. LED car clock doesn't show on Ford Falcon Futura?

12 year old car, and the clock never shows the time. sometimes in the right light you can get a slight glimpse, but otherwise it just isnt displayed. i know its still counting the time properly. Nursing: Milk Supply ?

I have a 2 month old and since I have returned to work (I returned a month ago) my supply has been decreasing. It is occuring fairly steadily. Why can't parents be more encouraging to new parents to-be?

My husband and I are expecting our first on Christmas Day (or close to anyway). We understand that being a parent is hard work but everyone around us is acting like we aren't prepared and we aren't ready. We own our own home & our own car (fully payed off) We are both taking a year off to take care of baby. We are not party people, we don't travel or spend tons of money on junk. I traveled from Huancayo, Peru to Lima, Peru today. The trip reaches altitudes as high as 4500 meters (some 13000 feet) above sea level, and though I've made the trip many times and am used to the altitude, I have a mild cold and am pretty congested. I feel like I need to pop my left ear, but I can't. I can pop the right one, just not the left one. It's late, so I have to way to get a decongestant to help with it, and I need to fix this soon because we're traveling by plane in a few hours, and I know from experience that it will just get worse. PC, No programs will open, cannot restore, any ideas?

Hello all, my computer illiterate buddy at work has fubared his PC so I told him I would have a look at it. When ever I start it up, click on admin user, it will load to windows, if I want to open a program, I must execute it as soon as windows loads. If I wait, I get an error and can not open virus scan, adaware, system restore, or etc. Safe mode does the same. Safe mode with command prompt will not open. The only thing I know he got was Antivirus 2009, which I have determined is now gone from the registry (I can open it at first and search). I can remove his HDD and put it in my old pc and run virus scan, but I wanted to see if anyone had an idea before doing this. BTW, I don't have his recovery disk to try to repair it. I have searched the web without any luck. Thanks!

Build a Yugioh Deck From These Cards! PLEASE DO THIS!?

First i would go to the ban list and remove all of those cards. now i won't make the whole deck for you but here's a good start. If you are going to use skilled dark magician, then you will need to have some decent normal spells. Relinquished is good, but not the best choice. If you use dark magician make sure you have a good equip card and a card that can destroy spells and traps. that combo is for diffusion wave motion if you can get that card. Shadow spell , draining shield, swords of revealing light, magic cylinder, dust tornado, mystical space typhoon, and sakaretsu, and scrap iron are all good to have. For monsters, i really don't know what to say. Look at them and a t your other monsters, spells, and traps, and compare them to see what strategies would be good. hope this helps!

Why is my mum being nasty with the way she speaks to me ?

Can I be discharged from the Navy with an allegation of huffing?

I'm in the navy, and i was sent to the hospital and arrested on allegations of huffing, the police informed me that there was a witness who wrote a statement saying she saw this occur and they found a can in the public bathroom trashcan. I've continued to deny this, was 100% cooperative with the police and complied with a urinalysis to prove my innocence which came back negative, i also gave them full permission to search through my belongings in which they found nothing. The navy has a zero tolerance rule against drug use which results in a discharge, is this enough evidence to get me discharged? Finding a can in the public trashcan which is shared by over 50 females and a negative urinalysis. Is a persons statement alone enought to convict me and I get discharged?
